For those of you who know me, you'd know that I LOVE Harry Potter. I've been in love with everything that has to do with Harry Potter since the day I sat down in my grade 4 classroom during story time and had my teacher read us The Philosopher's Stone. There is actual photographic proof of me spending an entire camping trip in a chair with The Goblet of Fire in front of my face. I even have a scar on the same side of my forehead like Harry (thanks to my loving adopted dog Benny)!
I love Harry.
So that being said, I have been peeing my pants with excitement since I heard that the Harry Potter Exhibit was coming to Edmonton! I have been waiting since the end of NOVEMBER to experience The Harry Potter Exhibit at the Telus World of Science!!!!!!! But life kept getting in the way and sadly the exhibit kept getting pushed to the side...UNTIL TODAY!
My friend Karyn and I FINALLY went to see all of the awesomeness that went into making Harry Potter so epic. From the outfit Harry was wearing when he won the Philosopher's Stone over Voldemort, to the Marauder's Map, to the giant spider Aragog, to Dobby, to the petrified Colin Creevey (so creepy..), to the Elder Wand, to holding the screaming Mandrakes......BAH! My heart was overfilled with joy!
If you haven't been by the Telus World of Science yet to experience this awesomeness, I suggest you go right now. Seriously. Just be careful with your wallet... I definitely spent a solid chunk o' change on a Dobby Mug and some Chocolate Frogs....but it was totally worth it!
