Our last day in England with the family was spent in the beautiful town of York.
Ashley lead us around the amazing campus where he attends University...
He showed us around Shambles and the market. Shambles is super quirky and filled with neat, unique shops -- it was there that J.K. Rowling got her inspiration for Diagon Alley..for all you fellow HP nerds...
...We went out for lunch (and had too much sun) at a riverside restaurant...
...And of course we explored the sights - like York Minster.
York is a stunning place and I'd highly recommend it to anyone traveling in the area!
