I rarely get to see my family overseas, so whenever I get the chance to see them it's so great!
This was my second trip to England, but I was still only meeting some family members for the first time! Our family is so down to earth, loving, and hilarious -- Jeff had a blast meeting them all and we were so grateful for the time we had to spend together!
Neil is BIG into trains and he volunteers his time with Kirklees Light Railway as a steam engine operator. We headed out to visit him and took a ride on the train!
We spent one evening at our families yard, having a fire and sampling several different ciders all night!
As some of you may have heard, Eric was diagnosed with ALS, a truly horrible disease. Eric is a caring, strong, loving, and hilarious man, and even though this disease has limited his physical abilities, it was wonderful to see that he still has his same hilarious sense of humor! Eric always made sure we were seeing the sights and enjoying our visit.
I miss our family over there very much and are thinking of you all, always. xoxox
