Where do I even begin?

From the get-go I felt such a connection to this couple. I mean, besides the obvious that Meaghan and I had both picked Jeffrey's ( both with great beards might I add..). Their style, their goofy personalities, their vision for their wedding -- I was instantly excited to be a part of this couples' lives!

They wanted to do something a little different for their engagement session, so we took the session to their home. And even though they live in a brand spankin' new house, there was already SO much character and positive vibes about their home. Their decor was amazing, the colours were bright and welcoming, and they had the greatest prints and books on display! Even though they were a little nervous for their session, they were both so adorable, so giggly, and so natural together, I left feeling even more excited for their wedding. The morning of September 10, 2016, started off with the girls getting ready at Meaghan + Jeff's house, and the guys getting ready at Hotel MacDonald.

Meaghan + Jeff decided to have a first look before their wedding ceremony. They were so giddy and excited to see each other!

We took a break from the rain and enjoyed some delicious local beer at Situation Brewing.

Meaghan + Jeff wanted to have an outdoor wedding, with the feels of camping - without actually setting up camp. Blue Meadows was the perfect venue!

Their ceremony site was nestled away from the cabin, set up in a clearing amongst the trees. It was so intimate and unique - from their tree planting unity ceremony, to their handmade wooden + lace altar, and their heartwarming hand-written vows. The day was filled with so much genuine emotion and love, it was amazing to be a part of!
