Tara + Tommy | The Links Golf Course Wedding

Tara + Tommy went to the same high school. Tommy was the cool jock that Tara (being a few years younger) always had a crush on, and one day that crush turned into true love! How fantastic and rare is that?!

It was so great getting to know these two throughout the course of their engagement. We share a lot in common with the Watsons; a love for the mountains and travel (see their mountain engagement session here), dogs (their adorable rescue, Kilo, made an appearance on their wedding day), older character homes that need a lot of work... the list goes on! Being a part of their wedding day was so fun and we felt so incredibly fortunate to have found friends in these two.

Tara grew up right beside the Edmonton Corn Maze, so it was only perfect that the corn maze was their location of choice for their first look and formals. It was absolutely freezing, but the whole bridal party were such troopers dealing with the icy wind! Despite the cold, everyone spent the day smiling and laughing, soaking up every moment together. The maze made such a unique backdrop for a fall wedding, and their flowers (made up of rose hips and sunflowers), scarves, dresses and suits, all looked amazing among the corn.

Their ceremony and reception were held at the rustic, cabin-esque Links Golf Course in Spruce Grove. Wood walls and a stone fireplace were accented by more sunflowers and string lights. This fall wedding was absolutely stunning -- scroll down to see for yourself!
